Portishead – Threads
Portishead as you previously knew them are represented, barely, by the last song on the album— the sleepwalk-paced, David Axelrod-esque “Threads"—and even then, its intermittently

Portishead – Magic Doors
Magic Doors is a good choice of single, in that it is one of the more percussion-led tracks from Third. After verses brimming with menacing Eastern drones, harsh minimal percussion
Portishead – The Rip
[Verse 1] / As she walks in the room / Centered and tall / Hesitating once more / And as I take on myself / And the bitterness I felt / I realize that love flows / [Chorus] / Wild
Portishead – We Carry On
“We Carry On” is a song that sounds a bit like Clinic’s droning, rhythmically dense garage-kraut, except somehow spookier
Portishead – Machine Gun
[Verse 1] / I saw a savior, a savior come my way / I thought I'd see it at the cold light of day / But now I realize that I'm only for me / [Chorus] / If only I could see you turn
Portishead – Deep Water
[Verse] / I'm driftin' in deep waters / Alone with my self-doubtin' again / I try not to struggle this time / For I will weather the storm / [Chorus] / I gotta remember (Gotta

Portishead – Plastic
“Plastic” is possibly the only time that Third delves into Portishead’s archives, as mellow, drawn-out beats linger as a backdrop for Gibbons poignant vocal delivery.
Portishead – Nylon Smile
“Nylon Smile”, is an almost heartfelt plea by Beth Gibbons that actually sounds like a nervous breakdown in progress right before your very ears.
Portishead – Hunter
The cabaret highwire act Hunter highlights the fragility in Beth Gibbons' voice.
Portishead – Small
“Small” splinters into Syd Barrett-isms at the coda of and the melodic identity that he and Geoff Barrow built on a foundation of minor keys and sinister grandeur that still holds
Portishead – Silence
On the chase-scene-paced Third opener Silence, Gibbons sounds like both a defiant accuser and someone clinging on for dear life.

Ab-Soul - Do What Thou Wilt.
Record is out and we’ve had a chance to digest it. It’s not going to get massive views, but let’s get on top of the red at least.
“Raw (Backwards)” – This is Soulo’s “diss” track. He takes aim at Jay Elec and Troy Ave, among others. The theme is simply Ab-Soul flexing on his competition. Shout to @Dithekgo @Traisart and @G_LaFlame for their work. 30k views
“Braille” feat. Bas – Another braggadocious track, with Soul trying to convince us, and maybe himself, he’s a top tier lyricist. Thank you so far to @4YourEyezOnly @kidcudisucks and @soulodash 24k views
“Huey Knew THEN” – The single, been out for a long time, I think the song bio is in good shape. There’s also Soulo verifieds. @Basedgator @HennyDa5-10 @HallelujahWhenIDoYa and @shivB- 60k views
“Threatening Nature” – Too much red here. This track is really good, with Soul delving deeply into religious issues. Shout to @goodkidkevcity, @Yeeeerndamean @nickchuks @lyric-dope and @G_LaFlame 36k views

This dude took 5 years to drop this mid, he’s officially below j cole and drake for sure
It has some of the worst production and beats (if u can call them beats) i have ever heard on a big budget album. sleepy ass shit.
His vocal performance is horrible, his singing is laughable.
previously he used to rap in that corny high pitched voice but it was still tolerable but now he’s rapping in a incredibly boring monotone delivery that’s just super boring. there’s zero emotion in his voice. how can i buy into what you are saying when you sound so bored and tired
seriously tell me on which ones he sound better:

Best "late night album"?

What album do you feel is best for chilling out late at night to? My personal favorite is the Cocteau Twins' Victorialand. What about everybody else?
